UNO HOTEL SYDNEY, Sydney – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel had rooms that were a good size, looked nice and new, and were comfortable, although they were significantly smaller than the pictures. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, and the amenities were lacking for three people as there was only one mug and one glass in the cupboards. The service varied from being fine to very rude, except for one overnight staff member. The location was convenient for my needs as it was close to Potts Point. The dining options were available at local cafes, but the facilities were not standout despite being more than acceptable for the price paid.

The hotel had a mix of positives and downsides. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, but some noise and discomfort affected the experience. The service was accommodating despite a few mishaps, and the location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions. The dining options were satisfactory, and overall, the facilities met basic needs.

The hotel's rooms need a bit of an update and good cleaning, as my window faced a back alley full of dustbins and the room was dirty, smelled, and had cracked window sills. However, the staff was friendly and accommodating, providing a discount due to a booking error. The location was good, with plenty of nearby bars and restaurants. The dining options were available at local cafes nearby. However, the facilities lacked some modern amenities that could have enhanced the stay.

The hotel is situated in a central location near the train station, making it convenient to get around. The rooms, however, allowed a lot of noise from the outside, especially on a noisy backstreet at night. While the service was mostly great, there were some hiccups with wrong shuttle bookings and misinformation about payments. Overall, the hotel offers a decent stay with a few drawbacks to consider.
